What is Karastan carpeting?

Karastan carpets are name-brand carpets, and the Karastan name has been known in the flooring community since the 1920s. The Karastan company has been known for durability, beauty, and quality for over 90 years.

Karastan carpeting is made in the USA, and the company's primary goal was to produce carpets that were as close to handmade as possible. As a result, durability is one of the main benefits of Karastan carpets, specifically hand-inspected for quality assurance.

In 1933, after just a few years of producing carpets, the Karastan company took one of their rugs to the World's Fair in Chicago and had millions of people walk on it. Then, after the carpet had endured heavy foot traffic and spills from foods and drinks, half the floor covering was restored to its original state.

If their test at the World's fair doesn't prove they're a durable flooring, I'm not sure what will. The unique process Karastan uses to produce their carpets and test their durability has made Karastan carpets a wonder in the flooring community.
